In Layman's Terms

No doubt you've seen style switchers on other pokemon sites, but none of those sites has the customizability of pokemonfan.net's style switcher. Basically our style switcher on pokemonfan.net allows you to do two things. First, you can select from a nice range of different layout designs. Or you can choose to customize your own layout! Just select your colors, choose your background, and click apply! It's that simple.

Pokemon Sunday

While we had all expected the announcement regarding the Gold and Silver remakes to be released today, on Pokemon Sunday, the Japanese Pokemon site decided to do it on Thursday, with awesomeness all around.

Pokemon Sunday aired this morning though, and as expected the gold and silver pokeballs that had been unopened last week were opened to reveal the Heart Gold and Soul Silver as the new games.  In addition they also showed the new art work for Cyndaquil, Chikorita, and Totodile!  As well as a couple seconds of gameplay!!

I took pictures with my camera, I know it's not great quality, but you can see clearly what's going on.  The couple seconds of footage of the new gameplay is up as well, please enjoy.

While the new artwork doesn't seem, to me, to be especially different from the original gold and silver artwork, I think it's best to keep in mind that this is only the new artwork for the starters and thus perhaps we'll see some more interesting artwork for Lugia and Ho-Oh, box art will be especially interesting to see, especially after the fake gold and silver remake box art that was put up on the internet a while back.
